Lovely to meet you. I’m Kendra (she/her) – a long-time Lincoln local, and registered psychologist since 2015.
I care about inclusive, safe, neurodiversity-affirming, and impactful psychological services for young people and their families, and adults.
I work with clients of all ages, across a range of issues. I’m particularly interested in:
Diversity welcome. I work to be culturally-safe, LGBTIQ+ friendly, and anti-ableist.
My hope is that you find this to be a safe space to be. I value trauma-informed and neurodiversity affirming.
As a registered allied health practitioner, I bring together research, clinical judgment, and your lived experience for best outcomes (Evidence-Based Psychological Practice model).
This is a part-time practice currently operating on Fridays. I am generally unavailable outside of practice hours, including via telephone. Please contact via email with any further questions or enquiries or register your interest in psychology services here. This is not an emergency service.

Yes. You would require have a referral letter and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP to claim a rebate for psychology sessions for mental health treatment. To access this, please book an extended appointment with your GP to discuss your eligibility. If approved, you’ll receive a referral that allows you to claim a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session. There is a gap fee.
Alternatively, if you have lived with chronic pain for at least six months you may be eligible for a rebate through Medicare for allied health services to help manage your condition (Chronic Disease Management Plan). There is gap fee. Please discuss this with your GP for more information.
Yes, I accept plan-managed and self-managed NDIS referrals for participants with psychology in their plan.
Yes. You will need to pay upfront and claim your rebate through your insurer. Coverage varies, so check with your provider for details. Please note you cannot use Medicare and private health together to claim for the same session.
I am not currently registered with ReturnToWork SA.
Therapeutic assessment is a collaborative and person-centred approach designed to provide insight and clarity, rather than just a diagnosis (but that may still be part of it). There is a focus on ‘what next’ and making a plan. It’s an interactive process where clients and families actively participate, helping to shape their understanding and future support needs.
The right therapist-client fit is really important. I work to create a warm, safe, and respectful space, but therapy is highly personal. If we’re not the right match, I’ll do my best to guide you toward someone better suited to your needs.
Every person deserves the best possible care. If a referral falls outside of my skillset, requires intensive support beyond what part-time private practice offers, or presents a conflict of interest, I may not be the right person to help. If that happens, I’ll do my best to connect you with someone who can. As a registered allied health practitioner I’m legally and ethically bound to follow practice guidelines to keep clients safe. Sometimes, I may not be able to share why a referral is declined due to confidentiality.
I see children, teenagers, and adults across a range of areas including mild-to-moderate mental health presentations. I have a particular focus on women’s health and neurodivergent populations.
I do not provide family law assessments, couples therapy, or ReturnToWork (WorkCover) claims at this time. Please note that I am unable to support high-risk presentations in a solo part-time private practice capacity; please speak with your GP about appropriate services.
At times I may need to decline a referral for professional, legal, and/or ethical reasons.
It’s important that treatment is tailored to your needs, rather than a one-size-fits all therapy type. I work in a way that is neurodiversity-affirming, culturally safe, and inclusive. I predominantly draw from therapies such as DBT, ACT, schema therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
I am currently accepting referrals, as a new practice.
If my books are full at a later date I will encourage seeking other services and checking back in a few months if you still need support.
I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology (post-registration), a Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Certificate III in Disability. I am also a 2019 Churchill Fellow and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
I have held registration with the Allied Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) since 2015, and I have been a Psychology-Board Approved Supervisor since 2020.
